Nobis Agri Science has an excellent career opportunity for a Dairy Nutrition and Management Consultant. Be part of an expert team inside of a reputable, financially stable, long term player in the animal nutrition business. In this role, you will be mentored and will work with existing clients and work to forge new relationships and develop new business. The successful candidate will have the qualifications and desire to provide first class customer service and innovative solutions to modern, large herd dairies that result in successes for the dairy producer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop cost effective ration formulations that maximize income over feed cost
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Actively build new business
- Regularly scheduled visits to clients; maintain visit logs and notes
- Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers
- Strong commitment to nurture existing relationships and cultivate new opportunities
- Streamlined decision making provides answers quickly – no red tape
- Report to the Director of Nutrition – no chain of command – quick decisions
- Day travel within the territory- overnight travel as needed
- Continued education and staying current with research and industry
- Provide client training
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, agriculture, business, or relevant science-related degree
- 1 year experience in sales and/or technical support relevant to the dairy industry
- Technical knowledge of nutritional models and management practices
- Excellent communication
- Able to work independently with exceptional organization skills
- A passion for the dairy industry and cows
Preferred
- Advanced degree (M.S., Ph.D., DVM)
- Working knowledge of Dairy Comp 305, PC Dart, and other farm and data management software
- Bilingual ability
COMPENSATION:
- Total compensation will be base + commission
